Food Distribution Programs financed through the generosity of Rotarians

Over the years, Child Life International has successfully worked with several Rotary Clubs from USA and Romania. Through the generosity of the Rotarians, many tons of nutritious food were brought to Romania, being a tremendous help for thousands of needy children from children's homes, hospitals, and poor families.

Rotary Matching Grant brings a long-needed van to Child Life International

For many years we have struggled with transporting ministry teams in Romania. The one vehicle we lacked was a van that could comfortably move people.

Thanks to Verne Meyer, the President of the Hutchinson Rotary Club, and all Clubs in District 2021, Rotarian Dennis Bergquist, long time Rotarian and friend J.B. Roberts, President of Hunger Plus, Rotary Club 61348 of Botosani, Romania and Rotary International - I am excited to announce that Child Life International has been given a like-new 2007, 8 passenger Mercedes Vito van!

This vehicle will be used for many years to come to transport teams of visitors and volunteers coming to Romania to help with the humanitarian projects, and to deliver emergency help for desperate people.
